Aldeburgh
For those who enjoy the sea, Church Farm is located on the outskirts of Aldeburgh, a quiet unspoilt resort about ½ a mile south of Thorpeness in Suffolk.
Aldeburgh was developed on the site of a mediaeval fishing, shipbuilding and port site and derives its name from the Anglo Saxon term for an "old fort". Determined to maintain its own character, (the seafront is now a conservation area), it remains completely unspoilt and is in a delightful position between the sea and river Alde.
Church Farm is set just 50 meters from the beach and occupies around 30 acres of wooded parkland. Bordering the park to the North is the RSPB wetland conservation area, ideal for those interested in wildlife.
