Motorhome Hire Experiences

The Best thing about Motorhome Hire is when you take the keys to a motorhome they are not just for just for the doors and the ignition switch. They unlock fantastic experiences and truly give you the freedom of the open road. I believe that Holidays do not have to be rigidly structured and it is this flexibility that brings out the pioneering instinct in us all. We’ve been going to the V Festival in Chelmsford since 1998, infact we have only missed two years.

The first year we went I think my most memorable moment was seeing Robbie Williams win over a festival crowd of diverse tastes and have the whole place singing along together. It was also the first time we saw The Stereophonics live, who are now one of our favourite bands.

The Festival lasts over 2 days and camping on site is all part of the fun. We enjoy soaking up the atmosphere for the whole of the weekend and hiring a Motorhome means we don’t have to arrange separate travel and accommodation. With all the dancing and singing we always appreciate the comfort of sleeping in a Motorhome so we are refreshed for the next day.

You always end up talking to someone, whether it be someone who really likes the band currently on stage or someone who hasn’t seen them before and wants to see what you think. It’s always good natured and everyone is just out for a good time.

Last year was our ultimate line up, all our favourite bands were playing and unfortunately a few of them clashed which made it tough deciding who to see. In parts we did have rain which meant running back to our Motorhome to take cover. The weather didn’t disturb us at all as we had everything we needed to cook, shower, use of our own toilet and could even watch TV while there were gaps on stage. On the Sunday the most memorable part of the day was Scouting for Girls. The sunshine came out again and everyone was singing along and having a laugh. They might be cheesy but they are a great festival sing-a-long band and really brought everyone together.

I would definitely recommend hiring a Motorhome for any festival or event you attend regularly. You really can enjoy all the comforts you would do back home.
